Hey there! 👋🏼 I’m home after a week-long, unplugged vacation. We went to Pensacola Beach with my husband’s side of the family and had a great and much needed break from the craziness of life. All 15 of us got along so well, I ate way too many boiled peanuts as we drove through Alabama (and bought two giant cans at a gas station to bring home), I worked hard on my tan (probably the last tan I’ll have until late next spring), read a lot, never cooked, made it 23 hours in the car without any car problems (my car is at the end of her life so we were a little nervous if she would make it), and spent lots of time with family. We made the most of this fall break because my oldest won’t have a break next October since he’ll be playing high school football. I’ll share a few pics from our week away in my stories!
As much as I enjoyed our week away (and being unplugged), I’m ready to get back to our routines - early mornings, laundry, cooking, mom taxi-ing and all. I have some Christmas content happening soon, so my house will definitely have a Nightmare before Christmas vibe between the Halloween, fall and Christmas decor. Anyone else have some fun fall break adventures? .
