NEW FOSTER: Meet Rose. Before she came to me, she lived in a home where the kids constantly tormented her. So much so to the point that she would hide under the bed and refuse to get out because she was afraid. And even then, the kids would grab brooms and try poking her so that she would come out from her hiding spot. In the end, her owners surrendered her to the shelter because she was not “cuddly enough.” 😒
And the craziest thing is, is that a few moments after arriving at my house she started rubbing her cheek against my hand, purring and meowing for my attention! She is still a little hesitant around loud noises and unpredictable movements. However, she is definitely a little velcro-cat. She follows me around the foster room and greets me at the door.
I believe that she definitely was traumatized by the rambunctious kids who did not respect her personal space in her previous home. However in a calm home with people who respect her, she will truly blossom. So here’s to a new beginning for little Rose, here’s to a life free of fear and full of love. 🌹 #newbeginningswithrose #fosterkitten
